If you can help me out with this please do.
I've been trying to optimize my gif image so that it has the best quality possible when I save it, but it doesn't seem to turn out as how I've made it. Mattes help it become better quality but they also add that colored border around it that makes it unappealing.

um..well make the selective part perceptual. that part i know. i've never tried mattes though. never knew what it was. i don't think quality matters when it comes to gifs because they're not like jpegs where they can blur out and look bad.
