on photoshop how do i make my backround of the image transparent. so like anything behind my main image can be seen. ?? HELP!

well you can either make a certain part of the image transparent and save it as a gif when you optimize it. the other way is taht, you make the parts that you want transparent a color that's not being used and when you optimize it, you can define that color as transparent. does that make any sense? sorry
