Do I just suck at life, or is it actually hard to talk to someone that's suicidal and is about to take their own life?
I'm talking to someone quite close to me and they're about to take their own life. This conversation is very crucial. What I say could completely turn it around positively or negatively. Has anyone been in this situation before? Any tips? PLEASE?! I'm sorry, but I care for this person. Do I just suck at life or is it really actually a hard situation? |

I have. The whole time I was thinking, "Oh hell naw you are hella cool, PLUS! I will not be the reason for someone committing suicide!"
Depends on the situation really, why they want to and all that. I was hella scared a HUGE conversation went by that I might tell you how it went so you can have some ideas but anyways... eventually she said goodbye I have to go. I was like no!! BUt first promise me, I made her promise me. Then I asked her.. why, what is her real reason of doing it. Is her reasoning really that good. Is it worth killin yourself. I didn't want some bullshit like noone loves or cares about her blah blah blah I made her tell me the real reason. She told me.. my hear was struck. Then she said goobye, that she has to leave. I was like "No!!! WHAT DID I DO?!??!" "What did I say that was wrong?!?!" I kept telling her to not go cause I thought she was implying that she was going to kill herself right there and then. Go figure before she left she said thank you, but she really had to go. SHe said she'll talk to me tommorow and thanked me again. I'm mad at her for that lol... making me think that I was the one that let her make her final decision on suicide. |
