Excuse me for posing the vegetarian argument, but, eating meat period is humane if put into perspective. Animals are bread, slaughtered by the masses and then served up for someone else to eat? That sounds a bit inhuman to me. People make exceptions because as human beings, we generally eat certain types of red and whte meat (steak, chicken, fish, etc) and the fact that humans are atop the food chain is a cause for justification.
Still, if we can survive and grow strong off of fruit and vegetables (and soy, holla!) alone, then why not switch to a more healthy and more human diet? I watched Super Size me and practically vomitted midway through, and I don't have a weak stomach. I'm not going to sit up here and tell everyone carnivore on this forum that they are wrong for not becoming a vegetarian/vegan but do yourself the favor of visiting a slaughterhouse. Then, eat meat shortly thereafter, you'd change your mind. I believe eating sharkfins is inhumane as well as catching sharks to begin with. So what a shark ate a surfer? The shark was there first, you were in its territory. Ya shouldn't have been there. Tough. |
