There was no off switch so the only way to keep it quiet was to wrap it in a blanket and keep it in a dark closet. Eventually it would still sense some light and you'd hear the desperate, muffled Furbish screaming. Maybe they've added an off switch for the non-sadists. oh man i remember those furby things. lol i remember when they first came out i used to want one so badly. hehe, yah and i think the only way to shut it up was 'wrap it in a blanket and put it in a dark closet'. lol very true. I dunno why they are trying to make them popular again, ahh!
