There was no off switch so the only way to keep it quiet was to wrap it in a blanket and keep it in a dark closet. Eventually it would still sense some light and you'd hear the desperate, muffled Furbish screaming. Maybe they've added an off switch for the non-sadists. LMFAO!!That Furby looks retarded,ugly,and scary!! I was laughing!!It doesn't be quiet?D*MN,how can people stand these things?! I have a furby still(from like years ago),but I hate it!!It's in the garage.But like when I go to the garage I always see the ugly,old Furby I got for my Christmas present. It screams?!AHHHHHHHHH!!!!I would never ever don't want a Furby!!The new Furby is uglier!!
