I was just wondering..is "ill" good or bad? Like if someone says something is ill, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

yea, ill means sick, and sick supposedly means cool? What if I say, dude, I'm so ill.....that could either mean dude, i'm really sick, or i'm really egoistical and think i'm really cool
