i like this car but i could settle for more...its a 98 mits. eclipse convertable..automatic..lowered n its a grayish shade...what else..the rook is black..umm what else..thats about it to know..but its kinda crappy i get it from my mom we've had it for a while but we might trade it in for an escape..is that a good chooice?

Any mitsubishi car has problems, even the Evo 8. I want an Eclipse, but I probably wouldn't drive it, thus it wouldn't be my first car. I only like it for the look. Of course i have no car, so I wouldn't know much about how it runs.

not necessarily. maybe for a lot of older cars, but a lot of new convertibles are coming with a built in rollbar. i know that the honda s2000 is really sturdy, because there was a post on a s2000 forum about a guy who was racing and as theytook a corner he drove off of a cliff. he was riding top down also, i kid you not. he had minor cuts a bruises, but other than that he and the passenger were fine. i'm not saying that will always happen, but there are new safety features in cars nowadays.
