See I understand what flirting is just I have trouble spotting it when "I" talk. I have this one friend and we hang out and talk for hours but, I don't know if i'm flirting with him and, if hes flirting with me. I can tell if its among other people but, when it's me I just dont know.

i would consider flirting like constantly looking at each other, laughing together, fooling around (any kind of touching, hitting)
