i have this best friend. shes been my best friend since 2nd grade. from 2nd grade thought 6th grade, we went to this elemenrty school from K-6 and for every grade there were only two classes. my school was pretty small so everyone was friends with eachother. (of course there were popular people and dorky//loserish people)... we've always been sidebyside not in the popular group and not in the loser group.
so this year in 7th grade, we got mixed in the jr high with another school in our district which was way bigger than ours. now there is strictly a boundary for popular, lesspopular, dorks, freaks, losers, etc. but all my friend wants to do is be popular! i mean, all these years, we have been fine being unpopular and all of a sudden when theres about 200 more kids she just ditches me and tries to be popular? whenever some popular girls around she hangs by them, when theyre not, she hangs by me. its just like shes using me to catch her back when shes alone!! should i just leave her to be friends with the popular people even though they arent her best friends or should i just keep doing the same thing im doing now?? and you dont know her like i do, shes a liar. she lies to be popular, you know what im saying? if she does something wrong she either denies it or blames it on someone else *ahem* which would be me. please help me!! |
