i just want an opinion, is distance a good reason for breaking up with someone, or is love the only thing that matters no matter how far apart you are?

if the 2 are truely in love, it shouldnt matter..my boyfriend and i have been together for 4 years and still going strong..i live in san francisco and hes in san diego..distance hasnt brought us apart and we arent planning on it either..
