tattoos, safe or dangerous? kool or not? Options

I just did a search and found that there was no debate about tattoos. So here are my questions for you:

Do you think tattoos are danerous or safe?

Are tattoos kool or not?

Are tattoos painful or pain free?

Do you have any tattoos

If yes: what are they and where are they? So you want more

If no: Do you want any? (what and where)

If you have/got a tattoo would you/will you regret it?

I think tattoos can be dangerous if you go to a tattoo parlor that doesn't have a good reputation and good sterilizing methods, etc.

I think the pain level depends on where u get the tattoo.

I don't have any tattoos.

I want 4. an ankh on my arm, angel wings on my back that say "Tamara Elaine Jobes 1986-2004", a shooting star (not sure where), and a faerie on my ankle.

I don't think I'll regret them because I've thought long and hard about this. and I still have another year and a half before I turn 18 and can get them. I'm getting them all in places that are easily covered.

Tattoos are safe, if you go to a "dirty" place to get a tattoo then you are not using your head, not to mention its rather cheep to become a tattoo artist and it would be a stupid thing not to re-use needles, you would be losing much for such a stupid act, they ususally cost less thatn 1.00 per needle I have yet to meet a tattoo artist that uses the same needle. I am personally an intern at a tattoo shop... I currently have 5, the one on my lower back hurt like a @#!*& the other ones didnt hurt much, if you google the words " celestial tatoo" you will see 3 of mine, the other ones are not posted yet. I have them on my ankle, shoulder baldes, lower back.
If you get a tattoo its a different pain, you will have to decide how it feels, its like a constant cat scratch if you may. Its a whole new pain and if you really want the tattoo, it doesnt matter the pain, you know it will rock! I dont regret my tattoos at all. and when I get old, I hope the people in the nursing home that take care of me think it rocks too. It will always remember me of my past my younger days!
