active x controls

ok my school has some thing called active x controls and i was wondering if there was anyway to get around it because it blocks most of the websites

hey, um whatever they're using, i'm 100% sure it's not callled activeX controls. activeX controls are a general category of all sorts of internet explorer plug-ins, like flash and java (technically, not really, but it's pretty much the same).

it depends on how they block the websites--if it's from a program installed into the computer, well that's a bit easier. but if it's some sort of hardware device (like something in another room that's plugged into the internet, well, i think you're gonna have to go pick some locks and break the website filter device ;)
