Okay I have a job interview scheduled this Friday. Since I've never been to one, what questions would they generally ask? How should I prepare for it, if I even need to at all. I really want/need this job, any tips would be nice.

thanx.

Yeah, i would do what they say. smile, keep eye contact, be honest, and don't dress sloppy.

i've had 3 job interviews (Waitressing, RA, and tour guide, which i got the jobs for) and i'm about to do an interview for my internship

i've gotten questions like:
what personality traits do you have that are good for this job?
how do you see this job benefitting you in the long run?
how would you handle an upset customer?
what do you hope to gain in experience from this job?
did you have any other jobs before this? what did you do? why did you leave?

stuff like that. it also helps to research your company you go to interview for. for example, if you are using a computer, you could say something like "well, i know your company uses this type of system, and i am familiar with it" showing that you did research about the company shows that you're interested.

lastly, make sure you arrive on time, and follow up with a thank you note.

i've aced all interviews by following these little guidelines, i hope all works out well for you :) good luck
