Dying Inside
I scream as I hold my head and close my eyes, Yet everything is quiet, and a look of happiness sweeps my face, Tears start to pour out onto my gray cheeks, I feel myself slipping away, But I still stand here with this fake emotion, And I can't shake it off, it's glued on, like a mask, I try and kick to let this demon go, But I cannot let go... And I'm dying inside. ----- Okay, my first shot at an unrhyming poem... Kinda like a lot of other poems out there. |

You never know what someone is going through and poetry like this is more than a means of ventilation, it's a cry for help and a shot at therapy. At least, that what it is for me.
Good job. |
