Is it possible to fall victim to the cliches of hopeless romanticism?
It must be, because I'm a victim and I'm getting killed softly.
All I want, depsite my ailing domestic woes, is that feeling,
That feeling that humbles the loudest boast to shy whispers.
I find it intriguing how I can sit and listen to a song about lost love
and realize how much I have taken for granted in past relationships.
However, going against my nature, I didn't blame myself for it
and, yet, I refuse to push this issue further.
My decision has been made, no relationship, no quest to rekindle
the flame, just an attempt to shake these thoughts and move on.
Besides, I could already be in love with a stranger...

Thanks a lot.

BTW, I was trying to look at your Xanga but the colors throw me off. So I'm going to just subscribe and catch it in an email. These poems are all in my xanga because my xanga is my poetry journal.
