this has just been gnawing on my mind for a couple days.
a few days ago, i passed by a couple of people talking about how much they LOVED green day... however, when i asked if they knew about green day before their American Idiot song, they all said no. Most didnt even know that they had been around for many years before... so, as a question to all Green Day fans, especially those who LOVE green day, how many of u knew/cared for the band 5 years ago? how many actually listened to dookie? not meant as an insult to anyone |

oh who the crap cares.
so you listened to them first. whoopie. you know that you knew first, so let them be. just cause someone starts listening to a band when their new cd comes out doesn't mean they don't really like the band. |

I agree. To tell you the truth i didnt even know who greenday was untill some months ago. Yeah, i did listen to some of their old songs but i didnt really pay attention to who they were. So i guess you can say im not a true fan. But w.e i dont really care cuz i really love their old cd's and the old cd's were better than their recent one... |
