So, how come simple looking, or and I quote, "defaultish" looking xangas can't be considered nice? I mean, really? I've seen some xangas with skins that are way too complicated (most skins actually whistling.gif ) to even read and navigate through!!! Most of the time these skins and xangas are accompanied with fonts that are usually way too small. It's getting ridiculous! My xanga is simple and cute without a flashy skin, and my font IS STILL READABLE! But people say, "Oh come on you can do better than this!" HA! blink.gif

I was just curious because it seems like everyone "has to have" a really unnecessary looking skin in order for the xanga to be considered nice. The simple ones, generally, are way easier to read, and as a whole look way nicer! cool.gif

Thank you!

Personally, I have just looked at your xanga and dislike it. The reason why people say default xangas are not the best to look at is because it's the truth. It doesn't exemplify that the creator put much effort into it and it doesn't bring forth any talent. Whereas someone with a more complicated xanga looks as if they put more effort in it or has more talent even if they did just copy and paste a code. Also, default xangas just means that you basically just used the default xanga settings which equals boring. Plus most default xangas can end up looking quite similar but if you make your own layout/skin or get the codes for a layout/skin, it's more likely that it will end up looking more unique. And there are some layouts and skins out there that are easy on the eye, easy to read, and easy to navigate. In fact, most are. I suggest you look harder.
