We all complain about how our parents are "too-strict" or whatnot. So, explain what kind of mom you would be! Talk about the rules, what grades they should have, when they can date, when the girl can wear makeup, what you would do ti punish them, what you'd like them to wear, etc...
I think I'd be a pretty cool mom. I'd let her date at age 14, wear makeup at 13 (or entering middleschool) (cause i'll be a makeup arist/fashion designer ;D) and her/his grades must be 85+. Punishment: taking away tv & internet. Curfew for teenager: 11:45.. parties are exceptions (1:00am) Thats all I can think of for now.

i would spoil my kid just a little, but imbue the academic sense into her, she's not allowed to do anything too off, but she is allowed to date when she reaches certain age.
