Stuck in The Middle, ugh. im caught in between 2 friends Options

Ugh. I hate drama, but it always seems to find a way to me. But anyway, I have two friends Ashley and Naomi. They just arent getting along at all right now. Before, they were perfectly fine with eachother. In fact, they were pretty close. But Ashley just never trusted Naomi. Something happended on Saturday, and Ashley is pretty much just taking it out on Naomi. I mean, Naomi didnt do anything AT ALL to hurt Ashley and she's just been avoiding her at school and church. I cant even hang out with the both of them at the same time anymore.
Today I called Ashley to see what was bothering her. She told me that Naomi just wasnt a good person and that she just couldnt trust her based on what people had been telling her. I mean, I admit Naomi is a hard person to trust, especially if you start off on her bad side, but I mean, it's not like Naomi did anything to Ashley. Now Ashley is just talking a whole bunch of smack to everyone about Naomi and Naomi is just clueless as to why Ashley is mad at her. Gosh they just keep talking about eachother with me, and I hate being in the middle. Yea, I know it's all a VERY confusing story because I left out a lot of details, but please try to help me if you understand. Thanks.

^ I agree. Be careful when you're stuck in the middle in these situations.

Tie them down and force them to talk it out.  Make sure they understand that they are also hurting YOU by making you the "middle" person.

^ True. I don't think Ashley and Naomi understand how this is affecting you. Tell them. And make sure Naomi knows that Ashley isn't mad at her for any particular reason. Don't take sides, though, or they might team up on you and you'll lose them both.
