just like the topic...
what should i do? my mom said to eat cold food and cold drinks to make period come earlier... but that may not always work though... and tampon is the only way? and i can't go out to shop for tampons, my mom has to DRIVE me to there. and also i think my mom doesn't even know much about tampons, when she is in that line, she only talks about pads. |

That's so stupid. Tell your mom you need tampons rigth now and kneel down and cry. even if you're not going swimming you need tampons, htey are 100 times better than pads, at least in my opinion. pads are uncomfertable and feel worse than a diaper..and they stink
![]() Tell your mom that you need em really badly and that lots of girls use them and they're fine. I use them, I should know, they're sent form heaven ![]() I can't beelive your mom has never used a tampon, no WONDER girls find their periods so annoying...I mean pads suck like heck!!! I don't mind my period at all...I don't get cramps very much anymore and when I have a tmapon in I can't even feel it, it's awsome!!!! you absolutely must tell your mom to let you get tampons..you msut msut must must must!!!!!!! OR you can go with a freind you know really really well and buy tampons with her, but if I were you I'd jsut tell your mom, becasue you always need to refill your stock and you can't go with a freind everytime. beleive me, I knwo how hard it is to ask your mom for someitnhg embarrising, especially if ti's sometihng they know nothing about and disaprove of. Like with my mom it was bras...she never wore a bra and doens't to this day, but I really desperately wanted some at teh age aroudn 12. I was far too embarrised to ask and even asked my freinds for advice. eventually I ended up sending her a letter and leaving it on her bed...lame I know, but that was my way of solving that problem. even after that it was tough casue neither of us knew anythign about shopping for bras. anwyays, if you don't knwo what to get, I'll tell you: make sure the tampons you buy have aplicators, the plastic/cardboard things on the outside of the tampon to make it easier to put in...the ones without them are cheaper, but I like having the aplicator. Also, for your first tiems make sure they are called "teen" or sometihng like "extra smooth" or "plastic for easy insertion" etc. that really helps. also, make sure you get the smaller sizes cause that's what you'll need to use at first. I hope that helped, and all the best luck. ![]() |
