Can you do the splits? I cant do it all the way. NE one have ne Tips to do the splits. I have to do this dance that requires the splits and I haveta learn >_<

I use to be a cheerleader and I use to be able to do the splits to the left, right, and center. My coach would come behind us and push us down gently while we were in the splits stance. Try having someone do that. It will hurt but eventually you will get it.

Shouldn't have someone push you do unless they know what they are doing. It can cause serious damage without you even knowing it. Personally, I'd rather just work enough on flexibility to be able to do them without help. Which incidentally, getting back to the core topic, I can. Not as easily as when I was a gymnast, but I can still get down all the way. Sideways is easier, for me. Tips for doing splits? Work on being flexible with conditioning and stretching exercises. Always warm up before doing anything, and don't hurt yourself. Have fun. ^_^ |
