there is a LOT of racists on Createblog now days...and ni Real life we cant do anything about it...here we can.
what do u think should happen the the people that keep being racist on CB?

they are in humor...i guess cuz they are jokes you can't really do anyhting about it except ignore them =/

is it just me or does anyone else think that it's even worse that people let racism go because it's a "joke"? is it better that people think these things are funny? why is this acceptable?

because the jokes are forms of laughter that are meant to demean racism and decrease its effectiveness.

Let's go down the list of the humor forum, shall we? Let's judge them as if we were closing all demeaning jokes.

"yet another racist joke, chill im black people" - From what I hear, you guys think it's ok to post a joke about your own race. What a freaking double standard. Also, how would we really know he/she is black in the first place? This thread would be closed.

"why women are great, and men are... " - If you read through it, it actually demeans women. Since we're cracking down on race jokes, might as well crack down on genderist jokes, ey? This thread would be closed.

"sunday school class." - Might offend the religious on cB. You don't want THEM rowdy. This thread would be closed.

"men!. *rolls eyes* hehe this is funny " - Demeans men. Some of the men here might get offended! This thread would be closed!

"*A girls firs time*. lol" - The context can offend the sensitive. This thread would be closed.

"..a joke...i think it's really racist..." - Race. This thread would be closed.

"what do u call a black person?." - Race. CLosed.

"why do racists/bloods hang around in gangs?. " - Race. Closed.

"a few blonde jokes.." - Might offend blonde haired women. Closed.

"The Rabbi and the Priest." - Might offend the religious. Closed.

"asian girl joke." - Race. Closed.

"what do you call a chinese nerd?." - Race. Closed.

"the priest who lost his cock. " - Religion. Closed.

"uncle sam, osama and some other guy. ". - Nationality. Closed.

"Asian Breasts. " - Race. Closed.

"other blonde joke." - Hair color. Closed.




If you're all going to be cracking down on race, you crack down on hair-color, religion, orientation, disability, etc. Don't give me some double standard bs.

Do you know why the race jokes get to you? It's because you let it. You're so inclined to rid the impossible to rid. Racism will not go away. Eliminating race jokes will inevitably make it worse! Why? Because the racial remarks will be SERIOUS. No one will laugh. No one will say, "Oh, haha, it's a joke!" You are eliminating the light-heartedness and parody of the joke. You are, effectively, helping true racism breed.

Seriously, I've surfed the board, and the only argument I can find to disprove me is wind&fire's. The rules do say something about thinking before posting. Everyone else is going "Ohyea, let's go burn down their house." "Well f**k that bitch" "[insert incoherent stupid remarks here]". Cmon, you think I'll take you seriously if you denounce racism and then start swearing at a fellow cBer because they have a different point of view?

I said this already, maybe you should all stop worrying about parodies of racism on the internet, and start writing letters to the KKK. Start supporting your local community on this issue. Get off your butt here, stop flaming others, and get into the REAL WORLD so you can end REAL RACISM.
