Girls who try too hard to get the attention of boys piss me off.
They frolic around the mall, strutting their flab in booty shorts and tiny midriffs, hoping to 'score' with boys who wouldn`t even give them a second glance if their semi-developed 'tits' weren`t hanging out. (who knew twelve-year-olds could be so degrading?) ... and I`m not speaking for all twelve-year-olds. They go to shows, not for the music, but to meet 'hot, older emo' boys who probably won`t even be interested. They tell their crushes details about things that aren`t PG13, hoping that it will "lure him in". I know for a fact that I am not the only person annoyed with these teeny boppers, so tell me, who else is? xo, Pauline |

What some people failed to mention, as they commented about how parents affected the children, is that some [kids] dress like that to be a rebel and/or to prove a point.
Parents who shelter their children hide them from the outside world (i.e. the media), in hopes of keeping them safe and babying them to be the perfect son/daughter. At one point in that child's life, s/he MIGHT go crazy and want the parents to stop being strict and resort to different decisions. The child(ren) might react to this kind of treatment by doing one of the following: 1. Talking to their parent(s)/guardian(s) about it and problem is solved. 2. Talking to their parent(s)/guardian(s) about it and problem is not solved. They don't do anything about it or secret disobey their parent(s)/guardian(s) behind their back. 3. Tell off their parent(s)/guardian(s) that they won't take it any more and go ALL OUT AND PROVE TO THEM THAT THEY ARE GROWN UP. There could be other things that they might do in order to prove a point, or maybe just due to peer pressure and peer or media influence. Perhaps some of those girls just want to fit in, follow the media, or parents are too strict or not strict enough. It all depends. Back to the topic... We should show a thing or two to these "wannabe, whore-ish girls." It's sad that they're in such a hurry to grow up. Wearing MASS AMOUTS of makeup at 10 years old... What they don't know is that when they're older, they'll have wrinkles. ![]() |
