Underground is: any type of music that isn`t mainstream. I doubt you`d ever see "underground" music on MTV or hear it on a radio station.
I know music is about quality, but the only music I like just so happens to be underground. What about you? Do you listen to underground? If so, which bands? //edit: I`ll just name the first ones that come to mind: Brown Eyed Deception, Runaway Orange, Saosin, Cauterize, Sherwood, My American Heart, and The Snake The Cross The Crown. xo, Pauline |

QUOTE(jordanriane @ Mar 8 2005, 12:02 AM) Saosin isn't too underground; they've recently had their video played on FUSE. Granted, not MTV, but that's definitely not underground. But I've loved them forever now. some underground i listen to: i would set myself on fire for you the mercury project the snake the cross the crown cue the doves monday in london the belles a silver mt. zion explosions in the sky He Is Legond The Receiving End of Sirens mm yup. explosions in the sky is awesome. so is saosin, i downloaded a bunch of their stuff about a year ago since i couldn't find their ep anywhere. and i'm pretty sure i've listened to a silver mt. zion, if i'm correct that that is the side project of the guy who started godspeed you black emperor. |

Zion is definitely a side project from gyb!e. others to add to the list: hewhocorrupts towers of rome bane kodan armada la symphony (hip hop) murder by death death by stereo minus the bear sigur ros sleeping with silence (chicago local) the ghost give up the ghost bear vs shark christ, i could go on forever. |

QUOTE(StanleyThePanda @ Mar 9 2005, 9:10 AM) as tall as lions is good, i downloaded some stuff off of their site this summer. if sleeping with silence is the guy from medford who's on purevolume, i also have some of their songs. death from above 1979 seriously deserves some recognition. you guys should check them out here. |
