Top 10 Favorite Movies: 1. Donnie Darko 2. Shawshank Redemption 3. Casablanca (The Original B/W version is simply one of the best movies out there) 4. Fight Club 5. Garden State 6. Star Wars (The whole series was great, but the first one, it was simply the best) 7. Spirited Away (Simply the best anime I've ever seen) 8. The Matrix 9. An Evening with Kevin Smith (Its basically a Q&A with one of Hollywoods best filmmakers, its absolutely hilarious) 10. Braveheart |

Its just a beautiful movie that really hits home in my book. It represents my truth in life, and it fits right in with my life so well. And of course Natalie Portman was simply amazing as the oddly amazing girl next door. Its a very well dialogued and warming film. |

Personally, I thought the theme was living a live of intoxication (perscription drugs) and then not taking them anymore, thus freeing your life from the box of being drugged all of the time. Definitely didn't hit home for me, and well, I don't know. The movie was just slow to me, and I just didn't see why it was so good. It may have been an original movie, but it just didn't captivate me like I had hoped it would. I think I was expecting somthing far more spectacular, so the bar of expectation was really high for that movie. I was just kind of let down by it. Though I will admit, the movie has an amazing soundtrack. |
