there is a LOT of racists on Createblog now days...and ni Real life we cant do anything about it...here we can.

Look, you guys need to look at this in a different POV.
Jokes are light-hearted. Racial jokes are made to break the tension and effectiveness of racism. For me, if I heard someone call me chink, I'd just automatically think back on a joke about chinese people and white people. I'm not as mad that someone called me chink. It makes me laugh inside. Seriously! I'm comparing the arguments against racial jokes to something similar as fundamental Christians calling Harry Potter the spawn of Satan. (And how America's youth will all turn into lil devils and fly around playing Quiditch or something..) It's rediculous, and truthfully, your efforts should be spent somewhere more meaningful. (Maybe real racism in the real world, rather than against jokes on an online forum.) |
