Hey, people. This is one of those times where I actually believe that I've written a (in this case, 2) pretty good poems. Please tell me what you think. Thanks a lot.




Now Take A Minute

Now take a minute,
Just one minute,
Out of your meaningless day-
the same minute
you would use on me;
to acuse me, to abuse me.
Now, take a minute,
Just one minute,
To step inside my skin;
To tell me if this is all real;
To tell me how I feel.
'Cause you always have the answer.
You've always known
What goes on
Inside my heart.
And you always see
What I see
Inside my head.
Or maybe all that is surreal.
You think you know me.
You think you have the right
To tell me who I am;
To spread around what I do;
When all you really know
Is what's spread around
About what I do...



Seemingly Important

I guess you could say
I'm rough around the edges.
When you see me walking
Down the halls of hell,
I'm the one you notice.
I walk tall and proud;
I seem big, feirce, strong.
You see me walking
Down the halls of hell,
But you don't know
What's going on inside of me.
You don't see the side of me
That i am scared to let show.
There's that small part of me
That's totally contradictory.
I am small, scared, weak.
Some look up to me.
Because I'm that girl
Who is so proud of who she is.
I don't let anyone get me down.
But what you don't realize is that,
Some people are insignifgant.
Some people are pointless.
Some people, who don't have the right to be
Are too important.
She stands up to the unimportant.
But she cries when the seemingly important
Betray her.
The friends of her
Seem so good.
But.... everyone gets backstabbed
By someone.. so seemingly important....






Just let me know if you think it's.....
boring
pointless
great
stupid enough to laugh at
just... ahh......
bad enough to vomit over
pretty damn good...
