I have a problem, my boyfriend doesn't like the way I dress, cause I'm gothic. He told i HAVE to start wearing more 'girly" clothes. I don't mind changing a little of my wardrobe for him, but saying no more leather braclets, chains, spikes, and No black clothes what so ever is a little overboard. To me, clothing is just what i like to wear, it doesn't change who i am, i don't see why he can't see that. I really don't want to give everything up, but i want him to be happy. Can anyone help me out here?

don't let anybody else try to change the way you are.
how we dress is a part of who we are, you know? and there's your boyfriend, who thinks that he has control over you. don't do it. before you know it, he'd probably try to change your complete life... confront him that you want to dress the way you want, because you're in control of your life. if he has a problem with that, then screw him. there are plenty of other fishes in the sea. |
