I have a problem, my boyfriend doesn't like the way I dress, cause I'm gothic. He told i HAVE to start wearing more 'girly" clothes. I don't mind changing a little of my wardrobe for him, but saying no more leather braclets, chains, spikes, and No black clothes what so ever is a little overboard. To me, clothing is just what i like to wear, it doesn't change who i am, i don't see why he can't see that. I really don't want to give everything up, but i want him to be happy. Can anyone help me out here?

wow....that is controling...its not like you tell him what to wear...its your clothes...if he wants different....it shouldnt matter what you wear...but instead what you are...you know? that is so not cool.
