I have a problem, my boyfriend doesn't like the way I dress, cause I'm gothic. He told i HAVE to start wearing more 'girly" clothes. I don't mind changing a little of my wardrobe for him, but saying no more leather braclets, chains, spikes, and No black clothes what so ever is a little overboard. To me, clothing is just what i like to wear, it doesn't change who i am, i don't see why he can't see that. I really don't want to give everything up, but i want him to be happy. Can anyone help me out here?

Why is he dating you if he doesn't like the way you dress? If he truely liked you, he wouldn't care what you wore. I agree with the others; if he keeps telling you to change, dump him.
