Do you know your way to your house/school/church?
Even though you've been living in that state for more than 5 or 6 years, don't you get any troubles telling the directions to people on how to get there? I have that problem. I lived in Shoreline, Washington for 3 years so far. And, I still don't know the streets to my apartment. I always say like, "It's near Costco and Magic Dragon. Just go from there and I'll show you where to go." And I also have to say "Right, Left, Stop" ehh yeah. I guess I don't really pay attention to the roads when my mom drives. So that means I don't memorize the street names and what exit it is. Well I know my street is Bagley. But they question me like which Bagley. I asked my apartment manager, kinda stupid of me to do that but I did just in case if someone ask me again. So yeah.... even they tell me, I forget. If I write in the paper or in my diary, I forget or lose it. Ehh... yeah... that's just my life. How are you going with knowing your way? |

Pssh yea. Of course, I've been pretty sheltered and since I've never really gone out to different places very often, it's hard for me to remember. My boyfriend has photographic memory, lol. He can see a place once and remember how to get there for life or something... lol It's scary... But at least when he's there we won't get lost! lol.
But I know my way around since I actually started walking around my town area place.. thingy. But I barely know how to get anywhere in San Diego. ![]() |
