I'd been working on this layout for like 2 weeks now @_@ The HTML kept screwing up...
BUT ANWAY!! Yes, I finally got my new layout up, version22, after much hardship. Check it out http://www.xanga.com/systemdamaged And I don't want to see constructive criticism like "It's too dark". I wanted it dark, its supposed to be a dark layout, because I'm feeling dark and lonely, alrighty? Thanks. |

you obviously dont take advice very well, so why bother posting?
the layout has no direction or even any focus because there isnt enough CONTRAST to force the eyes to move towards any point in your layout; so when people look at it, they basically phase out after a few seconds. |

I'm sorry you feel this way. I was just saying that it isnt nearly as dark as you guys are making it to seem. Maybe it is because of the different color resolution on your computer, but on my computer, it's already 5 shades lighter than it was first made to be. I have added contrast to the original graphic, lightened it, and changed the font color to keep people from complaining, but it obviously wasn't enough. I'm sorry you feel that the dark colors of the layout is boring to the eyes and cause them to "phase out" as you said, but I've already changed my layout's shade time and time again, only to recieve more bad input on the color. |
