hey i'm soo curious if any of you have been with your girlfriend/boyfriend since highschool or somethin and are still together after so many years, even through college or after?

i've been with my boyfriend since 2years ago and in a few months he's going to enter college soon and i'll be following on in less than a year myself! =) i'm just wondering wat its like to go through all those years together? im not doubting that we'll fade apart after everything we've been through, we're in so much love! its just i wanna know how much of this happens? even if u know someone else whose gone through it.. i see it on tv all the time but how bout in reality.. is it usual n everything? wats it like?

my husband and i started dating our junior year of high school. he joined the army and i went off to college. for some strange twisted reason we ended up 45 min. from each other and we were able to continue our relationship. i know that if it weren't for that coincidence we wouldn't be together today. we had our obvious ups and downs. i mean c'mon, military guys are crazy and meet tons of girls and being in college is like being a kid in a candy store--but we stuck through it. we've been together for about 8 years now, and i'm only 23. we got married after dating for 5 years. all i'm saying is that if it's meant to be, it'll happen. don't focus too much on what will be, rather live it day by day. college is demanding. have fun.

aw hey you're absolutely right =) thats wat i said to my boyfriend.. its a complicated story but everything's fine now, i guess we jus had one of those 'downs' in our relationship which is really tough in the situation we're in but we've been through ALOT together in the passed 2 years(long distant) n if we could make it through that, we could make it through anything together if its meant to be =) thanks ^_^ send love to ur kid =) im happy for you n ur family XD
