ok so here's the thing, my laptop is realling getting on my nerves.
I open IE (internet explorer) and my home page is automatically turned into a search page, i get an error message about how run.dll doesn't work and my norton antivirus is detecting all my temp internet files as viruses and everytime i push "ok" another one pops up and even if i stay here all day turbo clicking, it won't go away. o, and everything is running REALLY SLOW. to see what i mean, i took a screen shot of it: http://uploadyourimages.com/img/720062omfg.jpg these are the following antiviruses/antispyware i have installed: Norton 2005 Bitdefender Ad Aware SE Spybot Search and destroy Mc Afee I have run each and everyone of these all day and for some reason they detect things, i delete them, then run the search again and THERE IT IS AGAIN! Something is copying this virus/spyware and cannot be detected. any suggestions? i'm THISCLOSE TO throwing this piece of junk out the window. Thanks in advance. |

Don't use Internet Explorer. Use firefox (www.mozilla.org), just like Kryogenix said. You most likely got all the spyware/viruses from cheap sites and file sharing if you don't know what your doing. So, my suggestion to you is to scan thoroughly with all your programs, and take off everything. Next, right click your start menu and click explore. Then go to your hard drive, usually C:\, and click Program Files. Or you can just open My Computer and type C:\Program Files at the address bar. Anyway, reply back listing all the folders you found that you are very suspicious of. I.E. GAIN, eZuLa, etc. Once I see what your bad program files are I can help you out. You'll have to remove all those bad program files, and look if there is an uninstaller, which I seriously doubt.
