Left Margin Space? Options

For some reason, my xanga is really hating me. I searched for a code, or anything for that matter, to get rid of the big space to the left of my blogs. I found one, but wouldn't you know it, it didn't work. This is the one I found:

I tried putting it in different places, in the code, but it either messed my whole thing up, or it just didn't work. Any other codes I should try? If not, is there a certain place I have to put the code?

Yeah, that did take the space away. But, the only problem is, it also brought back my original left side module.

it's not supposed to bring back your original modules, .mainleft removes them. paste this at the bottom of your header:
