I DID search...so yeah.
What do you think about this? -- QUOTE Ken Serrano and Chris Jordan of New Jersey's Asbury Park Press have issued the following report: He told the 14-year-old Sayreville girl he was "T-Rex" and he liked to impersonate the guitarist for the heavy metal band they both liked, STATIC-X, authorities said. But the 39-year-old man accused of meeting the girl through the Internet, driving from Pennsylvania and sexually assaulting her in an Old Bridge shopping center in January was no impersonator, police said. Tod Rex Salvador, who goes by the stage name Tripp Eisen, a guitarist for STATIC-X, was apprehended Thursday in Orange County, Calif. by two detectives from New Jersey, authorities said. Salvador, of Burbank, Calif., was charged with kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, luring to entice a minor through the Internet and endangering the welfare of a child. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 30 years in prison on the kidnapping charge alone. When Det. Scott Crocco of the Old Bridge Police Department and Det. Sgt. David Jones of the state police encountered Salvador, he had just gotten out of jail. Police in California arrested Salvador on Feb. 10 after finding him sleeping in a parked car with a girl with whom he had just had sexual intercourse, said Jon Fleischman of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Salvador was charged with committing a lewd act with a child and was released after posting $100,000 bail, Fleischman said. Following his arrest Thursday technically on a fugitive warrant from New Jersey, Salvador was turned over to the Central Men's Jail in Santa Ana, Calif. He is being held there without bail while he awaits extradition to New Jersey, authorities said. "We've confiscated several computers to examine them to see if there are other victims," Lt. Kevin Rehmann of the New Jersey State Police said. "We suspect there may be in several other states." STATIC-X is one of the most popular groups to emerge from what's known as the nu-metal scene of the late 1990s that spawned bands like KORN. The band released its debut album, "Wisconsin Death Trip", in 1998. The album went gold, selling half a million copies. A new album is scheduled for release later this year. A call placed to the band's publicist at Warner Bros. was not returned. A management company, The Firm, referred calls to Salvador's Los Angeles-based attorney, Mark Werksmen, who did not return calls. Police said the Sayreville girl met Salvador on a web site where he used the screen name "groverygodadat" under the heading "never married male looking for female." He listed himself as a Republican and the holder of a doctorate. In the section listing the acceptable education level of people he wished to meet, he wrote, "Elementary, High School, Some College, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, Doctorate." He started exchanging e-mails with the girl in October, Rehmann said. "He tells the girl he's a fan of the band and portrays himself to look like the guitarist in (STATIC-X)," Rehmann said. He drove to Old Bridge on Jan. 7 from Pen Argyl, Pa., in a white Ford pickup truck belonging to a Pennsylvania relative, said Lt. Robert Weiss of the Old Bridge Police Department. Salvador, who once lived in New Jersey, was back in Pennsylvania from the West Coast on an extended holiday visit. He drove the Sayreville girl around for a while and then had consensual sex with her in the truck in the parking lot of the shopping center, Weiss said. The girl's mother found out about the assault and went to Old Bridge Detective Thomas Montagna, who started the investigation, Weiss said. I got my information from here. Even if you're not a fan of Static-X or The Murderdolls, you could still easily have an opinion on this. Personally, I'm pretty damn disappointed. I liked Tripp...a lot. I had a lot of respect for him when he was in The Murderdolls. Well, I had respect for him in Static-X, too, but more in The Murderdolls. I think this is bullshit. I thought Tripp would be better than that. Ugh. I'm just weirded out. I like Static-X and The Murderdolls (he used to be in The Murderdolls but quit to be more focused on Static-X), so now I'm all weirded out when I listen to either of them. So, what are your opinions on this? |

I can't help it. In the back of my head is this little voice going, "Who wouldn't want to bang this guy?" which then causes another voice to pop up and go, "Yeah, so why is he after kiddies?" All the band groupies in the world and you go after little kids. Wait. When would he have time for that? Why would he do that? Something seems...wrong about this

Something seems...wrong about this ![]() Yeah...I always thought he was pretty damn good-looking. I don't know when he would find the time to do this. Static-X hasn't been terribly busy lately. Yeah, they've been making an album, but they don't work all day...so yeah. He must've had some free time. I know that this information is valid, though. Who knows why he did it...only he will know, really. I guess he's more of a sick f*ck than anyone would have ever thought. [sighs] I just feel weird about all of this...I had respect for this guy, and then he goes and does this? -_- I have lost all respect for him as a general rule, but I still have respect for his band and his musical talents. EDIT// I found some more information. QUOTE STATIC-X guitarist Tripp Eisen (real name Tod Rex Salvador) is believed to have met the 14-year-old Sayreville, New Jersey girl he is accused of sexually assaulting in January on the web site FetischMusic.com (via their "Find-a-Freek" online singles community), where he used the screen name "groverygodadat" under the heading "never married male looking for female." He listed himself as a Republican and the holder of a doctorate. In the section listing the acceptable education level of people he wished to meet, he wrote, "Elementary, High School, Some College, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, Doctorate." Under "my favorite music," he listed "Classic Rock n' Roll, Gothic/Industrial, Hard Rock & Metal, Metal (Dark), Pop/Top 40, Soundtracks, Other." View the FetischMusic.com profile that is believed to have been created by Tripp at http://www.fetischmusic.com/freeks/ViewPro...p?MemberID=2961 (note date of last login as Feb. 23 — one day prior to Tripp's most recent arrest; the profile was last updated on December 17, 2004). Salvador started exchanging e-mails with the Sayreville girl in October 2004, Lt. Kevin Rehmann of the New Jersey State Police told the Courier News. He told the girl he was "T-Rex" and he liked to impersonate the guitarist for the heavy metal band they both liked, STATIC-X, authorities said. QUOTE "We've confiscated several computers to examine them to see if there are other victims," Lt. Kevin Rehmann of the New Jersey State Police said. "We suspect there may be in several other states." Ugh. Way to go again, Tripp...there may have been more victims. Wonderful. |
