we all know that eventually humans will have to deal with some crazy stuff like overpopulation, decaying of the environment, global warming, and running out of fossil fuels and resources.....the fact is that we're feeling the early affects of alot of these lately....
but how soon will it take to become a huge problem that affects our lives directly?? in our lifetime maybe??..... |

if you put a frog in a pot of cold water, then gradually heat it, it will just burn to death in boiling water because it doesnt know when its too hot and it has to jump out. (no, i havent tried this). if you think of it, humans are pretty much the same. we are the frog, the earth is the pot of water. we are abusing natural resources, causing global warming, and basically digging our own graves as fast as its humanly possible. by the time that the world's leaders realize they should do something for the benefit of future generations actually ever existing, and not for their own short-term benefits (as in money, cough cough bush, halliburton), it will be waaay too late to save the human species. wen is it gonna happen? i'd say probably by 3 generations' time, if we don't first blow up everyone in a mass-nuclear-war.
call me a ranting satirical psychopathic maniac-depressive teen if ya want, this is just my opinion that you would probly rather live without, the opinion of a disturbed 13-year-old by the way, haven't you people read "Brave New World" and "Brave New World Revisited"? if you haven't, i advise you do if you feel strongly about this subject... |
