I was talking to this boy on aim and he said that he was going to kill himself. He said: "...im going to go kill myself, i am seriously doing it, im so depressed i just dont want to live anymore, and i will miss shelly the most, i hope you have a pleasant life..........". He is not my favorite person in the world and has a reputation of being an 'attention whore'.
I am a very gullible person and I'm just not sure what to think, he could be goofing off or he could be dead serious. No pun intended. Any suggestions?

I had the same thing happen to me, I was really depressed and a boy i liked came up and asked me "If you were going to do it how would you?" I didn't take him seriosly so i told him a way i knew and He did it. I regret it a lot if i were you I'd tell someone who could help. call a hotline i have a few numbers if you'd like them. bottome line If its not serious and you call, you'll laugh at it someday, if it is and you don't call anyone, you might never get the chance.

 [/quote] agreed. well i'd talk to him about it, and probably find out what is causing him to be suicidal. it's better to assume that he is really gonna do it then not take any action and regret it later. |
