Well, my english teacher assigned an essay to find a song that relates to one of the characters or the whole overall story and write a 1 1/2 page essay on it explaining how it relates. I am more of a fob so finding songs are a little difficult for me. :-D

Holden isn't a pedophile, but he's a very depressed-type kid who's confused and doesn't know what to do with himself. Remember, he talks about wanting to kill himself but not wanting people to look at him after he's dead.
try some radiohead or something. think of an angry song maybe, or one that's very mood-swingy. i'd say use classical music because you can interpret that anyway you please. |
