I'm so mad...
And i'm not really sure if this belongs here, either.

So this past week, I go to Dunkin' Donuts with my friend, Steve.

My mom finds out, and she starts wigging out on me.

She found I went today, too...
and she starts lecturing me.

She says something along the lines of how I shouldn't hang out with boys and how I'm only 13. And how she bets other girls don't hang out with boys. And how there are a lot of people, but I have to be friends with Steve.

So at that point, I was mad. Because:
1. A lot of girls hang out with boys, not just doing to Dunkin' Donuts, but like going over each other's houses, and crap.
2. Steve is just a friend, no more.

SO THEN, I go to her and I was like "wow, you're weird... "

AND THEN, she talks about teen pregnancy!!!! And about how I go everywhere with him. I tell her ti's just Dunkin' Donuts!...

She says, "first it's dunkni' donuts.. and then it's the movies and then after you'll end up with a baby"

At this point, my jaw is dropped. I do not like Steve and he is just a friend. He's ugly, too, and I don't really like anyone.

I am really mad.

Anyone else's parents like that? I really need some consolation on my life and hope someone's parents are like this. Because so far, I've seen no one's parents like this.

They overdo it. They just want you to be safe and keep you out of harm's way.

Just calmly accept the information and walk away. You know in your heart that you won't do something like that, and that should be good enough for you. Plus, your mom won't get hurt because you yelled at her or something. Just remember..shez looking out for you, no matter how bad it seems.
