Guys are confusing., what should i dooooo?? Options

Ok, so heres the deal. There's this dude that I've liked for idk 2 years? & just a few weeks ago He asked me out I was so happy.

But anyway.. I'm not sure if he even likes me. He acts really cool around me, but It just seems weird, because I know He cheated on a few people in the past. Maybe his whole "cool person" thing is just an act? & we were supposed to go to the movies on friday but then he called at like the last minute and said he couldnt go. No reason or anything. I'm suspicious. And I hate when he says he'll call but he never does, grrr. But hes just sooo damn hot!!! & I really like him.. If only I had some kind of sign to know if he even likes me (w/out plain asking him).

On the other hand, my other guy friend used to like me last year, but I didnt like him =\ And i've talked to him a lot recently. He's just really cool & I know hes a great friend. (also very hot.. lol) He calls me a lot & when he says he'll call later, he actually does (even If it's 2 in the morning!) But I dont think he likes me anymore, he tells me about someone he likes but wont tell me a name, then I asked him on the phone and he said he was kidding about the whole thing (i dont think he is.) I think I might like him.

Ahh so confused... What should I do????

Thanks guys for your help. I had a talk with my boyfriend. Things are more clear now. I'm not so suspicious anymore. Turns out he couldnt go to the movies cause he's grounded for having bad grades. (Which I can believe.. hes not exactly the brightest light bulb in the pack, if you know what I mean..)

Id say give him a chance, but dont get your hopes up hun. Boys are dumb. My byofriend even tells me this. They get power trips when girls go after them. So be careful. Me personally, any guy that couldnt at least gimme a call, turned out to be a terrible bf all around. I mean sure, if youre expecting 3 calls a day, tone it down, but if you are making all the phone calls, its a sign that hes not willing to contribute to yall relationship. That means hesnot someone you wanna be around. So I say give him a week or two, and be honest with him. Tell him what you want and how you feel. And if he really cares for you he will at least try to keep you around. If not, hes a dork. A loser. Talk to this other guy, and see where that could take you. Just make sure he knows ur not using him as a transition guy or something. I say play it cool for the next week or so. Sounds like you know what you want, and are just havin a little trouble knowing where to look. :D
