I saw it Friday night with my friends. I really really liked it. Especially Gabriel. That crazy, crazy angel. Was the actor female? Very good job of androgynousness. Her best line in the movie, "Basically, you're f*cked."
Lots of flashing lights and decent music. The special effects were decent. I'm a sucker for the angel wings. I didn't like the typical "somewhere in Mexico" start. Nor did I appreciate a Mexican man (possesed or not) raping/drowning (I'm not sure wtf was up with that) a white moman. The spear should have been found in Canada. Canadians are fully capable of being possessed and doing evil. Anyway, can someone tell me why the kid from Even Stevens is obessed with being in movies where he can practice cussing? First I, Robot and now Constantine... Also, didn't the demons kinda look like the love children of Golem (LoTR) and Predators (AVP)? Maybe I'm just crazy.... |
