Tae Guk Gi, The Brotherhood of War Options

Have any of you seen the Korean movie Tae Guk Gi?

It's about the Korean war, and it stars Won Bin and Jang Dong-Gun. I saw it yesterday. I cried so much when I watched it. Especially at the end.

A short synopsis:

When brothers Lee Jin-tae and Lee Jin-seok are drafted into the military to fight in the Korean War, older brother Jin-tae tries to protect his brother from the harsh realities of war, resulting in conflicts that wear away at his own humanity.

Oh my gosh. I love this movie so much like freaking much. It was such an awesome story. But too bad it's not based on a true story. They just use these characters for this movie. But the Korean war is realistic. It was real. But the characters they used wasn't really based on a true story. But I wish it was cause so I can let my cries out more!!!

Anyways I also like the actors they used for this movie! I mean Won-bin is hot and cute. Also Jang Dong-Gun is hot! He's even hotter, I have to say haha. Anyways the ending was such a sad part! I thought the war was over, but it was continuing. Man, I was soo mad when that one lieutenant didn't keep a promise with Jang Dong-Gun. Also when Jang Dong-Gun's wife died there. Such a tragic death in that movie.

I watched this once, I want to buy the dvd, but it's sold out in my place. But I don't think I can get it cause it's too expensive! I saw it at my mom's friend's house. I watched it on the Christmas night. After watching Spiderman 2, we watched Tae Gu Ki.

But I'm glad Won-Bin didn't die. It was hilarious for my friends and I. We didn't expected for an old guy and comparing to Wonbin's face. We we cracking up because we we were like "Oh that's how Wonbin is going to look like in the elders age LOL" Yeah, good times for us. I don't think it's funny for you guys, but it was funny for us. I heard that people were cracking up on that part too.

Also this movie was played at this one movie theater in Seattle Downtown where that person got lots of money because so many people keep on coming even though they watched it many times. Especially my home boys cried so much. But now... they are like "I read the Korean History book, so now I hate the Japanese people. I can't believe they did that to the Koreans blah blah blah" Eesh... this movie changed people's lives.

I don't think it changed me because I already knew the Korean History back then when I was young. So it wasn't really a big impact in my life haha. Anyways I was also glad that BoA get to sing for them. It's called "We". You guy should try and listen to this music. The beat is like a Korean traditional type of music. The music sounds sad, but I love it. It gived me the chills in the ending of the song too.

I kinda envy for her cause she get to put her song in the Tae Gu Ki movie especially when that movie is so famous. Gosh... well anyways the rate of this movie was 10/10. I'm glad they had English Subtitled. Without them, I would've been bored all the time. Well I'm Korean, but I don't always understand the words!!! So yeah... whew for that.

I bet they used Wonbin for this movie because he's like the Top 5 people who is very Hot in the whole wide world. Eesh if that's true. Eck to that. Anyways, he's awesome at acting, so whatever haha.

Also Jang Dong-Gun. Yeah he's old. Older than Wonbin. But still, he's amazingly hot. I have to say Jang Dong-Gun is much better than Wonbin heehee.
