love hurts<3, i kno its stupid, but i need help! Options

i like my friend brent. well more than like, love, at least thats what my hearts telling me. ive told him i like him. i even called him and told him and confessed a few things in person. he seems to like me too. he was gonna ask me out at one point, but i didnt know it then. the only problem is he has a girlfriend. he never told me and basically led me on...i found out about his gf by myself. i tell myself every night "i can live being his friend. i exaggerate things too much" but once i see him and his girlfriend my heart breaks everytime and i get all depressed again. i get mad at him a lot but once im with him in person i cant help but apologize 4 everything. i dont know what to do. should i just give up on him? or should i really tell him how i feel and how much hes hurt me cuz i dont think hes getting the picture even though ive confronted him about it.

Okay, no offense to anyone here, but I'm going to have to disagree with a lot of you.

I don't want to give you false hope, but I don't want you passing up something that could be great. If he "led you on" then that means he might have really liked you. Him going out with that other girl was a total slap in the face (and I hope he gets a real big kick in the balls for that), but consider this. Does he still lead you on? If he does...then he may be having mixed feelings. He may realize that when he made the decision between you and that other chick, that he chose the wrong girl. (Of course..for a guy this would be: "Sh**...I f***ing chose her instead of her.") I'm not saying forgive him. I'm saying go up to him, tell him you want to talk to him alone some time, and you guys arrange a time to meet up like after school or something. Go on a walk (it's easier when walking) and tell him all your feelings about how you felt before he dated that girl, and how you feel now. Tell him that if he leads you on again, you don't want to be friends, and he can just kiss your ass goodbye. Hopefully the guy will realize what he's missing. Good luck though, and hope everything turns out for the best.
