i've always done gymnastics since i was 5 years old. (i'm 13 now). i do competition and i've devoted my monday, wednesday, thursday, and friday nights and saturday mornings to the sport. i've always been able to work around my schedule but now that i'm in middle school and i'm a teenager, i kind of want more time for homework, and to hang out with friends, and party, and go out on weekends. i still love gymnastics but it just doesn't seem like i'm getting anywhere. i'm also afraid about gaining weight. going from all that practice to maybe only working out once or twice a week is going to be horrible. i need some advice on what i should do.

Well you can always go back to your favorite sport when you get your interest back. And since you want to lose some pounds. You should eat less, dance hardcore, and exercise.
