i know that there may be other factors, other motivators, but i just want to know, out of these choices, which one keeps you working the most? why do you study, why do you do homework, why do you pursue academics? by the way, if you, in fact, do not feel an obligation toward education, please do not vote or post in this thread.

i definetely wanna get into a good university and all, but mostly because of my parents. theyre constantly asking me wat i wanna be when i get older, how im gonna get to it, etc. i cant stand to let them down. i dont wanna be a disgrace to my family. [my sis said that i was a disgrace already cuz i got a C+ in english last term
