What horror movie really scared the shit out of you? That kept you paranoid and woke at night?
The movie that kept me really shook was Jeeper Creepers, When he cut up the bodies and the squishin sounds I didn't eat meat for like a week.

Don't remind me. I seriously had nightmares about that. cry.gif

I haven't really seen any 'scary' movies because I always hear from friends that they're not worth going to the theatre to see. All the recent ones are crap, I've heard. I'm kind of interested in seeing The Exorcist, but I'll probably shit my pants.

And there was one part in the "The Others" that scared me...that dead gma thing, and the part where they are looking at dead people through the pictures and they find out they are dead or whatever...i dunno the
"dead" people thing scares me..i mean they are dead, they aren't supposed to be walking around lol

oh yeah...it was so scary. the thing about nicole kidman's son said that he was talking to the girl who lived in his room...and that grandma was scary with her white, pupil-less eyes ph34r.gif

the jason movies scared me...i watched them when i was really little, like 5 with my brother and my parents. i hate that sound, when like jason is coming, haa haa haa haa chh chh chh chh (something like that, i haven't seen it in years).

freddy krueger scared me too, the recent exorcist movie, and the grudge all scared the crap out of me. so did the ring. also, saw freaked me out, i didn't even finish watching it, it's so creepy and gross.

that tv show on the sci-fi channel, "fact or fiction" scares the crap out of me too. like this one episode when this really bad high school student supposedly wrote "remember pearl harbour" all over the prinicpals files and on his car...like a week before the bombing of pearl harbour really happened blink.gif even if he didn't do it it's still freaky because nobody (except the japanese government) knew that it was going to happen.

i love scary movies....I watch them all the time. Its a shame most of them are stupid/horribly done. The Ring when I first saw it was really scary, Gothika I could barely breathe when I was watching it. But after scary movies are over...i barely think about them. unless i wake up in the middle of the night, and think about Samara standing at the foot of my bed.....eeew.

most of them are just "gross" movies like pulling out intestines & internal organs and stuff and you're just like EW and you're mostly disgusted instead of sheer scared.

Let's see....none!

No scary movie has ever scared me that's why I stopped watching them after Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I don't really find scary movies fun to watch anyway, there's really no point to it. Well there's no point to teen comedy movies either, but er... you laugh?

The Grudge was such boring tripe. I didn't jump once. I came home that night and watched the Evil Dead. I had seen it millions of times before, but the basement scene made me jump.

The Evil Dead was realeased in 1981.

horror movies don't scare me for some reason, acctually, they make me laugh at parts...i guess I'm kinda weird. When I was a kid I'd bring friends round for sleepovers and stuff, like kids do, and I'd rent the scariest vid that I could find, my friends would me all screaming and I'd be all like wtf? and laughing hysterically. I don't get scared that easily for some reason.

I personally don't get scared by horror movies.
I seriously laughed during The Ring, The Ring 2, and The Grudge.

I never watched them... but I heard Saw and Saw 2 are pretty freaky.

And if you just wanna relieve yourself of the horrors of horror movies, watch Scary Movie 3 or any of those. happy.gif

Okay, the movie that kept me up for at least two nights was The Ring. Seriously. I watched it with my best friend and we were both petrified. Now, I watch it on occasion and I laugh because it's so not scary :)

And The Grudge scared me a little, but not as much as The Ring.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre scared me in the theater, but it was waay more sad than it was scary, at least in my perspective.

Are we talking the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre or the remake? Because, if you are refering to the Tobe Hopper classic, I'm all with you. The remake was a joke.

I heard someone mention Uzumaki. Not a scary film, but a deeply disturbing manga by Junji Ito.

When I was younger, The Blair Witch Project gave me nightmares.

I would have to say The Grudge. The way the dead girl moves, and those big eyes... it really freaked me out.

Neither of those are scary at all. Not at all scary.
Well, come to think of it, most Horror films people consider "scary," I consider, "cool." But I don't even think the Sixth Sense was "cool." I thought it was lame.

Go with the Blair Witch Project, that's a really "cool" mockumentary.

the only movies that have actually scared me in the past, like, 4 years are the final destination movies. just because accidents happen on more of a daily basis than, say, freddy kruger killing you in your dreams n stuff.

some movies that have given me the chills/creeps/heebie jeebies are, like,
texas chainsaw massacre
phycho
halloween
nightmare on elmstreet

and werewolf movies. i'm just, like, scared of werewolves. i'm not sure why. i'm forreal even scared of the big bad wolf in the disney version of the three little pigs.
i'm afraid of the big bad wolf. i'll admit it.

The Blair Witch Project sure was cool, but it was never a real event. It isn't even based on real events. It's a fiction. It's not real footage. Silly head.

That cat has been out of the bag so long it's f**king dead.
