are you applying for gap? and are you lookig for suggestions on what to put on your application?

I enjoy bs-ig stuff so here goes:

Why are you interested in working for our company?

I frequently purchase clothes at GAP, and take quite an interest in fashion. I try to keep in touch with present and coming trends, and often dress to them myself. Also, I enjoy working with, and helping people. A position such as this would allow me to combine both aspects I am interested in, and give me an opportunity to learn and grow.

What strenghts would you bring to our company?

I am outgoing, confident, and enjoy all aspects of fashion and the retail business. I believe I would be a strong asset to the company because I take pride in my sales skills, and open friendliness.

(how much are you supposed to write for each?)

What a cheater(i think), this is more like homework forum. haha. laugh.gif whistling.gif shifty.gif

I'm interested in working for your company because i found the ONLY staff members that seem to be very friendly and calmly. That describes my personality and lifestyle. Gab has a wonderful friendly cozy environment filled with people who are struggling to purchase/search specific clothes. I'm willing to help them with my generosity and suggestions. I would like to improve people-person communication skills because I want to be an open person to different stylish people.

what strenghts would you bring to our company? [what will you put]

I’m very creative and artistic to art including fashion clothes. I can support customers with my creative analytical judgment. I have the willpower to meet any customers that aren’t satisfied in their finding.

Yeah, Some of the comments are lied but that describe me when it comes to helping people to plan ideas out.

I would answer: I bring teamwork, positive influence, refreshing personality and top of the line service.

Most of it doesnt seen true since I am quite the lazy buttmuncher.

yeah you have to wear the brand they sell. Cuz if you wear american eagle and a customer likes ur outfit, theyre going to go there to get it! I know when I worked at american eagle, you could wear non american eagle as long as it didnt say the brand name of someone else. And at vanity since it was just a bunch of different brands of girl clothes, as long as we wore the brands we sold, or if it looked like it, it didnt matter. But yeah, GAP is a big company so you might ask. They may be more picky. BUt theres some stuff u can buy at wal*mart that looks gap, so u might be able to get away with it. the point is to sell the clothes. haha yeah.

my friend just got a job at a mjor retail outlet, and their policy is that, as long as it doesnt advertise a rival company, it is ok.

If you're gonna work at gap, you're gonna have to wear at least SOME of their clothes. You'll probably be able to get away with something else if it doesn't show the brand...(eg. it doesn't say Tommy Hilfiger, or Campus Crew or their logos) anywhere on the outside of the shirt/pants, etc.
