I used to type it colours because I thought it was cool..and no one else did it. BUt now I'm just lazy. everyonce in a while I do it again accidentally tho.

Yeah, same here. I spell it theatre a lot.
Sometimes, whenever I feel like it, I'll use colours, but I usually spell it color.

WELL im canadian so i spell it coloUrs..and my teacher would take off marks if we spelt it colors..lol. we were actually talkinjg about that in 8th grade. neighbours/neighbors etc..haha us canadians are sooo sophisticated (yeah..rite)

Right. Actually, strictly speaking, "blonde" is used to describe a female with light hair, and "blond" is used to describe a male with light hair (or any other light-colored object, such as "blond wood").

Colors is the american way to spell it, colours is the canadian way. So technically I should spell it "colour" because I live in canada, but I spell it "color" anyway. Cause I use html and you have to spell it "color" to make it work...also because I'm just too damn lazy to press an extra key hehe.gif

colors is the american way to spell it... but I still spelled it colours for awhile when I was reading a lot of books by british authors... I still spell it theatre rather than theater and sometimes favourite...

I tried Spelling it Colours before in school (i thought it'd be pretty)...and it was in a research paper, and i got 20 points marked off because of "in-correct" spelling of the word "color" ...so yah... now I just stick to "colors". lol
